Suggesting that Honda is looking at incorporating Google’s technological into Honda vehicles.
It’ll be interesting to see if Honda licenses the technology for fully autonomous cars or just for additional safety features. I’m inclined to think they would only need Waymo if they are looking more towards autonomous vehicles as their current cars already have pretty good autonomous safety features.
The articles suggest Honda has a target date of 2020 for autonomous vehicles. That is not far away. Hopefully there will be affordable options available soon.
